after talking to the hobo and going through the first section of hints, I no longer am able to make the character do anything

laptop
integrated graphics
I can jump, I can shoot, then I talk to the tip guy and then no input works, I press keys, nothing happens, I click, nothing happens.
it doesn't freeze, things still animate.

I've got this issue too, tried using both the keyboard and the Xbox pad at separate times.

I have also tried re-installation and all that. It works on my dads PC. also the game does not freeze I just can't input anything. the world still moves in the background.

Ah, i have gotten it to work by pressing start on the Xbox pad instead of the A button at the end of Tipmans speech. literally just done it. |
